Five-Year Deal Agreed: Jose Mourinho Told To Sanction Move For £57m Rated LA LIGA Star

Friday, 26 January 2018

Jose mourinho has been urged by club legend Gary Neville to Hijack Manchester City move for Aymeric Laporte.

Report has it that the French centre-back is on the verge of signing for Manchester City and has verbally agreed a five-year term with the league leaders, after attempt to sign him in 2016 failed.

Laporte style of play, which sees him average more passes per game than his team mate has caught the attention of Guardiola.

The Spanish tactician likes defenders who can make passes and play from the back rather than shooting the ball out wide.

Metro clams that the Citizens are set to sanction his £57m release clause and the deal could be finalized before the weekend.

However, United legend Neville wants Mourinho to hijacked the deal from City and lure the centre-back to Old Trafford.

The former Valencia manager sees the 23-year old centre-back as a top talent that would strengthen United team.
Jose Mourinho has a knack for hijacking deal from rival clubs as evidenced by hijacking Chelsea’s move for Romelu Lukaku and more recently Alexis Sanchez’s move to Ethihad stadium.

However, it’s yet to be seen if United will make a move for the talented defender.

United have the likes of Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo, Eric Bailly, Victor Lindelof and Daley Blind on their books.
