The difference in quality between England’s top sides has been very noticeable this season, especially with Man City running away with the Premier League title and Liverpool reaching the Champions League final. Chelsea, meanwhile, are still looking likely to finish outside of the top four perhaps without a trophy this campaign.

Simply put, this comes down to the tenacity in the transfer market. Chelsea haven’t strengthened, in fact their team has got worse after two transfer windows have gone extremely badly, and that’s why they’ve struggled so much.
Chelsea cannot afford for this to happen again and should they want to show their determination to succeed next season, the Blues should seriously look at Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic, who is valued at £40.5 million on Transfermarkt.
The 19-year-old has continued his excellent progression in Germany by scoring 5 goals and earning 7 assists for his team-mates this season. His pace and trickery on the ball has defenders in a daze and Chelsea would look so much more threatening with Pulisic in the attack.

Indeed, he’d be the perfect partner for Eden Hazard, with the duo both offering similar dazzling dribbling skills.
With Chelsea’s poor season in mind, the Blues must think that they need quality acquisitions and Christian Pulisic is exactly that so they have to do all they can to persuade the winger to Stamford Bridge.
