Chelsea forward, Eden Hazard has revealed that he will be staying put at Stamford Bridge despite reports linking him with a transfer, according to report.

Real Madrid have failed to compete for the La Liga title this term and it is attributed to the attack of side being thread bare. The Santiago Bernabeu outfit are expected to fortify their squad next term and Hazard is named as a priority target for the side.

Chelsea have endured a torrid spell this season and their fate for Champions League qualification is not just in their hands. The are currently in fifth position on the Premier league table with a game in hand and three points adrift Liverpool, who are in third position. Chelsea have to win their last two games and hope for a slip from either Liverpool and Tottenham.

Pundits and fans have tipped Hazard to consider his future but he spoke to French broadcasters SFR Sport and revealed that playing in the Champions League is not his “priority’.

“I hope [the fans] don’t want to see me leave. I’m doing good things here. I’m happy here. Things can move, or they may not move. We’ll see. The public adore me, I love my teammates, my family are good here.’

‘Of course I want to play in the Champions League, but it isn’t a priority.’

Hazard has also struggled with poor form as he has been deployed to play the false 9 position. However, since Olivier Giroud arrived from Arsenal, he has been playing well.

He was as well linked with a move to Manchester United but dismissed the possibility of reuniting with former boss Jose Mourinho.
