Gareth Bale has reportedly set his sight on a Premier League move at the end of the season, with Tottenham Hotspur said to be on his case. According to Don Balon, Roman Abramovich has sanctioned a Chelsea deal for the wing forward.
Bale has come under staunch criticism for his failure to stay fit from the start of the season and Los Blancos are resigned to selling him. He has competed for places with Marco Asensio this term, as he has managed just 16 starts in the League this term.
The Welsh star was also unhappy as he was left out of the squad that thumped Paris Saint Germain in the last 16 of their Champions League encounter. He was left on the substitute bench against Juventus in the quarter final and he did not complete the 90mins in the return leg.
