Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has hinted a possible change of formation when the Blues take on Southampton in the semi-final of the FA Cup.
Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud led the front-line for Chelsea in their win against Burnley on Thursday night, with regulars like Eden Hazard and Willians left to watch from the bench. The presence of two outright strikers presented troubles for the defense of Burnley.

Although, non of the strikers were on the score-sheet, Morata missed a sitter and he appeared furious after he was substituted. However, Conte was pleased with the show-off of his forward men and he reckons that he could play with the two men upfront in Wembley.
Speaking after the match, the Italian said:
‘Great job with our strikers, because Giroud and Morata I think that they played a fantastic game with a great sacrifice without the ball.
‘They put great pressure on the ball in every moment and we forced them to play these long ball but when you play a long ball and stay in your half of the pitch it’s less dangerous.
‘Tonight, to see Giroud and Morata play in this way, to see this good combination, a good link between them, and then they decide to run and press without ball. ‘I think this is the right way to have satisfaction in the future.’
He was further quizzed if he would consider fielding the duo on Sunday, and he said:
“This could be an option, a possibility, for Sunday or maybe for the future.

‘For sure this is the first time that I tried this solution with the two strikers. I had great responses from them and for sure in the future it could be a good option.
‘When you have players that show you this desire, this will to sacrifice for the team without the ball, it’s great because I think today we surprised Burnley with the two strikers. I think our strikers created a lot of difficulty for the central defenders.
