REAL MADRID HAS REPORTEDLY REACHED AN AGREEMENT FOR A €100 MILLION FEE FOR THE SUPERSTAR, WITH THE PREMIER LEAGUE GIANTS.

With Real Madrid struggling to re-capture last season’s incredible from where they stormed to the La Liga title, winning 29 games drawing 6 and losing only 3 games all season which allowed them to win the title by three points. However, this season has seen the Los Blancos struggle in front of goal and even defensively and the club is looking to revamp their team for next season.

And while Real Madrid has depended on Keylor Navas over the last two odd years, the Costa Rican has struggled this season, especially in the La Liga along with the rest of the club. But with Real Madrid having conceded the most goals among the top four teams in the La Liga, the Costa Rican has come under stick. Their defensive record isn’t the worst in the world but that has been their leading problem, with the Los Blancos conceding silly and late goals very often.

That is exactly why the club has targeted both Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois and Manchester United’ David De Gea to replace Keylor Navas in goal. However, while it did look like a move for David De Gea was out of reach, it looks like Real Madrid may finally be in luck. The 27-year-old has been the Red Devils’ savior more than once this season, making crucial saves and blocks to allow Jose Mourinho’s men to sit second behind league leaders Manchester City.

However, now according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, the La Liga giants have reportedly reached a total agreement with De Gea and Manchester United. The fee, the report further adds is somewhere around 100 million for the 27-year-old, with the Spaniard’s agent Jorge Mendes negotiating a move for weeks. But earlier reports from Diario Gol and even Don Balon have reported that the Red Devils were willing to let the Spaniard go provided they got a player in return.

Rumors have revealed that Manchester United want either Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Isco Alarcon, Marco Asensio or even Toni Kroos as part of the deal, with the latest report revealing nothing of that sort. However, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has denied any potential move for his superstar goalkeeper even going so far as to say, “I don’t know what Real Madrid’s intentions are, but if I were them, I would think of another player. A goalkeeper like he is and obviously a club that wants to be better and better and better, we are not going to let that year option go away.”
