Earlier the name of institution was was New Hampshire School of Accounting and Secretarial Science. In 1961 it was renamed as New Hampshire Collage of Accounting and Commerce. New Hampshire Collage became Southern New Hampshire University in July1,2001.
Southern New Hampshire University is Accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Collages and approved by New Hampshire Department of Education. The School of Business is accredited by Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. Sport management programs are recognized by the North American Society for Sport Management. Hospitality administration program is recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration.
Southern New Hampshire University offers many Undergraduate, Graduate, Certificate and Online Programs from the different collages and schools. The collages and schools under the University are Collage for America(CfA), Collage of Engineering, Technology and Aeronautics(CETA), Collage of Online and Counting Education(COCE), School of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Education.
Southern New Hampshire University Participates also in Athletics. The School is a member of Eastern Collage Athletic Conference and northeast 10 Conference.
Men’s Team participates in Basketball, Baseball, Cross Country, Golf, Ice Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, Tennis.
Women’s Team participate in Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross country, Field hockey, Golf, Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Track and field, Vollyball
Southern New Hampshire University offers different programs both online and its three regional centers. The main campus serves as a regional center. Satellite campuses are situated at salem, New Hampshire and Brunswick, Maine
