Chelsea have been boosted in their pursuit of Barcelona target Jean Michael Seri but the midfielder will only move to England only if he knew who replaces Antonio Conte next summer.
The Mirror reports that the Blues have confirmed Seri as one of their main targets next summer and are willing to match Nice’s demands of £35 million for him, but the only hold up here is the 26-year old will seek assurances from whoever replaces Antonio Conte before putting pen to paper.

The report by the Mirror confirms it is not only Chelsea who are interested in the midfielder as Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have all sent scouts to monitor him closely in the Ligue 1 this season.
Chelsea have struggled with players in Seri’s position this season and are looking to beef up that department ahead of next season, seeking to get back in contention for the title again.
Barcelona and Nice had agreed a deal for Seri last summer but the La Liga giants switched their focus elsewhere leaving Seri free to join one of the Premier League clubs interested in signing him after this season.
