BREAKING: Chelsea Agree Terms With Superstar Striker Who Will Be Joining The Blues Next Summer

Tuesday, 27 March 2018

In the January transfer window, Chelsea almost got their man as a transfer fee was agreed with AS Roma. But the 32 year old’s wage demands were not taken as profitable by Chelsea and hence, a move wasn’t materialized. Chelsea ended up getting former Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.

This time around, as per the report by Spanish outlet Gol Digital, the Bosnian ha already agreed personal terms with the Londoners, and will be looking for a move to the Bridge in the summer. They claim that an agreement was reached in January itself for a move in the summer.

🔄 | Chelsea have reportedly not given up hope of landing Edin Dzeko this summer in a cut-price deal. https://bit.ly/2DTqE5t

Dzeko talked about his failed move to Chelsea in the winter. He said, “It’s true that negotiations were being conducted, and that’s all I can say on the subject. There was lot pf speculation, as well as false and even funny claims. I was really flattered by the interest from Chelsea, a club I really respect and admire.”

Dzeko is having a yet another impressive season in the Serie A, and has found the back of the net on 17 occasions in all competitions. He was on the scoresheet twice against the blues at the bridge in a 3-3 draw. Chelsea themselves have a misfiring striker in the form of Alvaro Morata, and Olivier Giroud hasn’t found the net a lot as well since his move. This has probably got Chelesea in the market for a target man. Morata recently got the snub from his international team as well. This could further deteriorate the 25 year old’s confidence. Meanwhile Giroud was on the scoresheet for France in a 2-3 loss against Colombia, encouraging for the Frenchman.
