There is currently so much uncertainty over the future of Chelsea manager Antonio Conte and the name Luis Enrique continues to surface as the man to take over the baton from Conte.

While Enrique is heavily linked, reports have indicated that the former Barcelona manager has given Chelsea one condition to sign – he has asked the brass of Chelsea to sign Marco Reus from Borussia Dortmund as one criteria to agree a deal.

Chelsea shockingly conceded defeat to Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge in the League last week and any result other than a win against Watford tonight is likely going to see Conte sacked.

Enrique has been on sabbatical break since quitting the Barcelona job but he is now in pole position to take over the reigns of Chelsea. However, Don Balon claims that the Spaniard has sought for transfer guarantee from Chelsea, just to be sure they are able to sign world class footballers.

The report further claims that Marco Reus is wanted by Enrique but the Blues are wary of the winger’s susceptibility to injury and they may not want to invest in him.

However, with Eden Hazard heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, Chelsea may consider signing Reus, as they he may bounce back with the Blues – the 28-year-old has scored 89 goals from 189 games in all competitions for Dortmund since joining from Borrussia Monchengladbach in 2011.

Meanwhile, Conte has claimed that he will not be sacked by Chelsea and that if he’s given three more world class players, he’ll fire Chelsea back to winning ways.
