ZINEDINE ZIDANE’S FUTURE WILL DETERMINE WHETHER ISCO AND MARCO ASENSIO STAY AT THE SANTIAGO BERNABEU BEYOND THIS SEASON

Chelsea could line up an all Spanish front trio if Zinedine Zidane stays in a job come the beginning of next season. Isco and Marco Asensio have grown frustrated with Zidane’s persistence on playing the BBC despite the trio’s abysmal form. Chelsea has emerged as a realistic destination for the duo along with Liverpool. Sacking Zidane is the only option in front of Florentino Perez to keep the duo at the Bernabeu according to Diario Gol.

Mauricio Pochettino and Jochim Low are being touted as potential replacements for the under-pressure Frenchman. Real are 19 points off league leaders Barcelona and have already been dumped out of the Copa Del Rey. Champions League remains their only chance of silverware. Madrid faces Paris Saint-Germain is the Round of 16 tie, should they manage to reach the final stages of the competition, Zidane would have earned himself a longer stay at the club. This, in turn, will effectively seal the futures of Isco and Asensio.

Zidane has gone with the frontline of Bale, Benzema and Cristiano despite all of them appearing out of sorts throughout the season. Benzema has been particularly woeful, scoring only twice in La Liga. Moreover, if Zidane stays, he will do all in his power to bring Eden Hazard to Real Madrid. The Belgian has been a long-term favourite of the World Cup winner.
Zidane will try his best to secure the signing of Eden Hazard

The Spanish duo’s current situation mirrors that of their compatriot Alvaro Morata. The centre-forward left his boyhood club in search of regular game time. Now, he could be joined by his compatriots as several reports have stated the Blues will demand Asensio and/or Isco in return for Eden Hazard.
