Jose Mourinho appears to have no fear in doing whatever it takes to add more quality to his squad in the winter transfer window, based on new reports.

The Manchester United manager will be eager to see his team make up some ground on Manchester City in the race for the Premier League title after falling eleven points behind.

United are rumoured to be eying several big names in the game who may be capable of taking the squad to the next level in order to compete with Pep Guardiola’s side.
And indeed, the Sun are reporting that the Red Devils are now planning to make a big-money offer for Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard of all people.

The Belgium international has reportedly rejected a recent offer from the Blues which would have seen him add more years to his career at Stamford Bridge.

Thus, Mourinho has seen that as an opportunity to reunite with Hazard whom he won the Premier League title with back in the 2014/2015 season.

United are reportedly willing to agree a deal worth $120 million (£90 million) for the 26-year-old attacker who has previously been linked with a move to Real Madrid.

The possible signing of Hazard from Chelsea would be a major surprise to many, considering what he means to Antonio Conte’s side.

Even so, the fact that Nemanja Matic was allowed to move to Old Trafford last summer means the Blues have softened their stance on selling to rivals.
