Arsenal and Chelsea meet in their final International Champions Cup pre-season friendly in Dublin on Wednesday (kick-off 8.05pm) as both new managers finalise plans for the season.

New Arsenal boss Unai Emery oversaw an impressive 5-1 victory over PSG in their last encounter. There were encouraging signs as the Gunners built to their Premier League opener against Manchester City on August 12, live on Sky Sports.

Maurizio Sarri has his first major test as Chelsea boss on Sunday in the Community Shield and will be using this clash to help get his players more accustomed to his highly energetic style of play.

Elsewhere, Chelsea are ready to offer N’Golo Kante a new contract thought to be around £290,000 a week ($380,277.87), according to a report in England.

Report according to The Times claimed that the Blues are ready to make Kante the best paid player at Chelsea, which would be a fitting reward for his excellent performances at Chelsea FC

It’s also added in the report that Chelsea have offered the midfielder a new “five-year deal” worth up to £15m a season to make the France World Cup winner one of the Premier League’s top earners.

According to the same story, Kante’s new deal would take the World Cup winner comfortably past Eden Hazard’s current pay packet of £290,000 a week ($380,277.87) at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea FC will be desperate to sign Kante to a new deal given Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with a swoop to sign the French defensive midfielder.

The Blues will be keen on tying the Frenchman down to a new contract with strong reports claiming Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing move for the defensive midfielder.

It’s also believed Barcelona are also considering summer move for Kante who joined the club in a £30m deal from Leicester City in the 2016 summer transfer window after the French star helped the Foxes to win the Premier League title in 2016.
