Chelsea has had a horrendous campaign in the Premier League as they currently sit in fifth spot unlikely to qualify for the Champions League next season. The West London outfit was also dumped out of the League Cup and the Champions League at crucial stages in the tournaments when they faced Arsenal and Barcelona respectively. And now Chelsea’s best shot at a trophy is when they face Manchester United in the FA Cup final later this month.
All this pressure has mounted on Italian boss Antonio Conte and he is certain to get the sack before the next season begins. The Chelsea board has already lined up a list of replacements for Conte in the summer including the likes of Luis Enrique, Massimiliano Allegri and Maurizio Sarri on hold to take over the reins at Stamford Bridge. But Chelsea boss Conte is ready to go to war with the Chelsea board for the hell that they have put him through.

According to the Daily Mirror, the 48-year-old Italian boss will continue to publicly state that he is staying on as manager of the former Premier League champions despite the increasing doubts regarding his future at the club. Conte is ready to go into battle with the club over the last year on his Chelsea contract which is valued at £9 million a year.

But Conte is not prepared to quit as Chelsea manager because he has not yet received any other job as of yet. If Conte agrees to part ways with the Chelsea board he will be out of a job until something new opens up at management level. Reports claim that the former Juventus boss is waiting on a firm job offer before he steps down from the Chelsea job.
