Chelsea’s longest serving player has agreed a deal to leave Stamford Bridge, having made a grand total of zero appearances during his eight years on our books.
Matej Delač joined Chelsea from Inter Zaprešić back in 2010. The Croatian goalkeeper has been shipped out on loan ten times to eight different teams, without ever pulling on a Chelsea shirt during a competitive game.

It doesn’t look as though Delač ever will play for Chelsea, either, as Danish outfit AC Horsens confirmed that they have agreed a deal to sign the 25-year-old, whose contract with the Premier League champions was due to expire in the summer
Delač is the longest-serving player on our books following the departures of John Terry, John Obi Mikel and Branislav Ivanovic. Chelsea’s new longest-serving players are Tomáš Kalas, Lucas Piazon and Thibaut Courtois.
Thanks for, well, nothing, Delač. Your (lack of) service has been greatly appreciated. We wish you the best of luck in the future.
