Madrid offer Chelsea three stars players in exchange for Hazard

Thursday, 22 February 2018

Real Madrid will offer Chelsea a pick of three players to sign Eden Hazard, reports say.

Real Madrid are determined to sign Hazard with the player’s long-term Chelsea future up in the air.

Los Blancos have endured a rocky campaign and a summer of change is expected to commence once the current campaign draws to a close.

Chelsea, however, are likely to drive a hard bargain with Hazard their undisputed best player since his arrival from Ligue 1 side Lille in 2012.

And Diario Gol say Real Madrid are set to offer Chelsea a pick of three players in order to convince them to let their star asset depart.

Marco Asensio is reportedly the one Chelsea want the most.

The Spain international has blossomed in recent weeks, rediscovering the form he showed earlier in the season.

Asensio scored in back to back Spanish Super Cup victories over Barcelona in August.

And, in recent weeks, he has helped put PSG and Real Betis to the sword.

Diario Gol, though, say Real are reluctant to let the wonderkid leave.

Instead, they would rather Chelsea take one of Isco or Karim Benzema off their hands.

Isco is a popular figure among the Real supporters.

But Zinedine Zidane appears to think differently, regularly leaving him out of his XI.

Benzema, meanwhile, has hit just six goals all season.

And Madrid want to get him off their books amid talk that Tottenham star Harry Kane may arrive as his replacement.
