5-year deal agreed: versatile mega star reaches agreement to Leave Manchester United next Summer

Manchester United are bound to be very busy in the upcoming January transfer window and while Mourinho is expected to sign quality players, outward transfers are also expected.

Belgium international and Manchester United versatile midfielder Marouane Fellaini has reached an agreement with Galatasaray ahead of a summer transfer move, this is according to reports.

Fellaini has endured a torrid spell on the sideline this season due to injuries and despite Mourinho’s open declaration of liking him, he’s been played from the bench more often than not. The 30-year-old has reportedly considered furthering his career away from the Fortress of Old Trafford next season.

Felliani has been closely monitored by the Turkish giants since last summer and having signed Badou Ndiaye, Galatasaray mellowed down. Ndiaye joined Stoke City in the January transfer window in a €16m deal, this has left Galatasaray scampering for his replacement already.

According Turkish outfit Aksam via the Metro, a 5-year deal has already being agreed for Fellaini to complete the move. His representatives have met with Galatasaray since last month and all is now set for him to complete the move in the summer.

Although we cannot ascertain the veracity of this report, Mourinho will be displeased to lose Fellaini on any ground. He urged the belgian to extend his contract with Manchester United earlier in the month.

‘I told him yesterday: ‘Sign the contract and shut up,” said the United manager. ‘I told him: ‘Don’t gamble too much. Sign the contract before you know the extent of the injury.”
