South-American Forward Arrive To Seal Chelsea Transfer – Announcement Imminent

Part of what Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, has done very well for Chelsea is that he has recouped funds from the sale of players and sent several youngsters on loan deals for their development.

According to O’Jogo, Portuguese side Belenenses are close to sealing a loan deal for Brazil born Chelsea forward Nathan.

Nathan joined Chelsea in the summer of 2015 from Atletico Paranaense on a €4m deal but the 21-year-old is yet to make his debut for the senior team of the Blues. He has spent time on loan at Vitesse and his last spell was at Amiens for the whole of last season.

The report by the Portguese newspaper claims that Nathan is already in Lisbon and will be presented to the fans later today.


The report has failed to state the nature and duration of the contract. While we expect the whole details to be revealed soon, GFN believe that the deal would be for the six month, which till the end of this season.

Chelsea are very well famed for their extensive loan policy that has seen a chunk of their prospective stars sent on loan deals to speed up their development.

Nathan has his contract with Chelsea running until 2020 and we hope he comes good.
