Deal Close – Chelsea to Agree $20million Signing From EPL Rivals

Chelsea have been heavily linked with England international and Everton star Ross Barkley for quite some time and the latest reports are very positive for the Blues.

Few days back, we covered a report (via Mirror) claiming that Spurs are favorites to sign the Toffees star in the winter transfer window.

However, as per the latest update provided by Daily Mail, Chelsea are on the brink of competing the signing of the 24-year-old star for a fee of 15 million pounds ($20million).

Barkley played well for the Merseysiders last season under the management of Dutch boss Koeman. In 32 PL starts starts, he directly contributed in 14 goals (5 goals and 9 assists). He has not played a game this season due to injury and is expected to return soon.

Capable of playing effectively in the midfield and also in the attacking third, Ross will increase the quality and depth of Conte’s team
