Marcos Alonso is currently the only natural wing back at Chelsea, with Baba Rahman set to be sent on loan and Conte is looking to sign a player that can play in the stead of Alonso.
The agent of the 23-year-old spoke with Calciomercato ahead of a potential move to Chelsea and he revealed that Roma are talks to allow the player leave.
“Chelsea are a concrete possibility, absolutely. Now the two clubs are talking, we’ll see if they reach a positive conclusion,” Fernando Garcia said.
“Obviously, Emerson would love to play in the Premier League and it’d be a dream to work with Conte, as he is among the best coaches in the world.”

Emerson joined Roma as a loanee from Pelermo on a loan deal and after his second loan spell the Seria A giants decided to make his deal permanent. The left wing back has scantily featured for Roma this term as he just recovered from a cruciate knee ligament injury he sustained on the last day of the League last year.
He was signed by Roma for a paltry £1.7m and report have indicated that Chelsea have agreed a £20m(23m Euros) deal for him. A move to Chelsea would mean Liverpool have lost out of the star, who is on their radar.
