According to the latest news in the British media, Chelsea are keen to add Andrea Belotti in the January transfer window for £80m.
Chelsea hierarchy decided to raise their chances of a second Champions League title with a mega January deal when the transfer window starts.
The Blues are willing to sign Torino forward Andrea Belotti in a transit thought to be around £80m.
The Stamford Bridge have been undersized at the forward area since Diego Costa drained out with coach Antonio Conte.
They have been entirely reliant on Alvaro Morata as the Italian head coach does not trust Belgian player Michy Batshuayi at all.
Chelsea need another striker, and Belotti is the beautiful fit for the team.
Conte has turned the team from last term’s 3-4-3 squad to a more traditional 3-5-2 set up.
Star midfielder Eden Hazard has been playing as the second frontman, but they have dropped his skill and drove in the middle of the place.
The signing of Belotti will allow for a more traditional strike business more nuanced – and technically adept – version of the big man/little man combo.
