After rumours of an opportunistic move for AS Roma player Radja Nainggolan, there is a new name arriving on the back sides linked to a transfer to Stamford Bridge.
Bayern Munich top man Arturo Vidal is considered to be free as the Bundesliga victors close in on the move for Schalke’s Leon Goretzka.
The incoming German would arrive on an open leaving Vidal excess to terms.
Vidal would be the ideal fit for a Chelsea squad that needs to increase defensive protection for N’golo Kante. They also could do with computing goals from midfield. The Chilean offers both points to the Blues.
Speaking today, Vidal said he has caught the rumours of Chelsea’s interest but deflected the discussion. While he admits the speculation, he says his focus is Bayern Munich and the goals which lie ahead.
