All is now set for for Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri to join Chelsea after Roma accepted bids for the aforementioned duo, according to reports.

DONE DEAL: Agent In London To Finalise Terms With Chelsea After Blues Agree £50m Deal

According to the Guardian, the Premier League Champions have agreed to hand Roma £44million plus add-ons worth a potential £57.2m for the pair and the deal is expected to be completed sooner.

Chelsea have been chasing the pair and despite claims from several media outlet that the deal is done, Dzeko and Palmieri have remained put at their club,.’

Nonetheless, Chelsea conceded defeat to Arsenal in the Carabao Cup game on Wednesday night and it was apparent that Conte lacked squad depth. The Blues have now moved swiftly to reinforce their failing squad.

The imminent arrival of the Bosnian attacker will solve Chelsea’s striking issues, who were forced to play Eden Hazard as a false 9. Conte does not believe in the ability of Mitch Batshuayi and he has sanctioned a loan move for the player – meanwhile, Marcos Alonso is the only out and out left wing back at Chelsea and when Palmieri comes, Conte will have another option for that position.

Chelsea are already out of the Premier League title chase but they are keen on ending the season on a high note, with at least a domestic title in the bag.

The fans of Chelsea will be pleased to welcome the new boys and they will demand impressive performances from the stars.
