Chelsea moved in to seal surprise deal for 25-year-old Ivorian forward

Chelsea are considering launching a bid to sign Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha, according to stories.

The Premier League giants have struggled with some injuries this term and Antonio Conte has made no secret of his wish to bring attacking improvements to Stamford Bridge.

Conte has several players on his radar ahead of the January transfer window and ex-Manchester United attacker Zaha is being lined up for a move.

The Daily Mirror claims Chelsea are considering whether to make an offer for the 25-year-old African however the move would most likely start at the end of the 2017/18 campaign.

Zaha has had an amazing start since his return to action for Palace, getting four goals in 12 Premier League games this season.

It’s believed both Arsenal and Tottenham are also keen on the Zaha.

Zaha finalized a high-profile move to Old Trafford back in 2013 however only made two appearances in the top English League before leaving.
