Lemar is said to be ready to leave Monaco after turning down summer deadline day moves to Arsenal and Liverpool.
Reports in France now claim Chelsea are in the forefront of the chase for the French star and are ready to break their club transfer record in order to get their target.
Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich is ready to go to as much as €90m to get Lemar who was the subject of €70m and €100m bids from Liverpool and Arsenal respectively in the summer.
With Conte desperate for new signings, it is also believed Chelsea are ready to make a cash + player offer to Monaco for Lemar, with Michy Batshuayi going to the Principality.

Batshuayi has been unable to get a place in the starting XI at Chelsea and was overlooked for a starting spot with Morata injured for Chelsea’s last game against Huddersfield. The striker has been linked with a move away this January and might see a move back to France as the best option right now.
Lemar will obviously be a brilliant addition to the Chelsea lineup but with Batshuayi leaving in the other direction, will leave the side with only one recognized center forward.
It is for sure going to be a very interesting January transfer window for Chelsea fans.
